Doris Horn has more than 20 years of experience in integrated communication, media relations and communications in international corporations.
She was born in France (Moselle) and grew up in Germany (Saarland). She holds a MA in Management Sciences in Marketing and a BA of Business Economics in Finance from the Institut Supérieur Franco-Allemand de Techniques, d’Économies et de Sciences (ISFATES-DFHI) from the universities of Metz and Saarbrücken.
She began her career in Public Relations and Corporate Communications within global companies the pharmaceutical and aerospace industry, such as Novartis and Crossair (today Swiss). Furthermore she worked for small and medium-sized companies like Obtree Technologies (today IXOS Software), Elektra Birseck as well as communication agencies.
2008 she created her own agency – Atelier DH – specialised in financial communication for listed companies in the pharmaceutical industry. She works in Switzerland, France, and Germany on merger and acquisition projects, events, media channels, training and coaching executives and opinion leaders as well as conducting media trainings.
Moreover, she is a lecturer in various universities and educational institutions on topics such as effective communication and presentation skills, public speaking, personal and professional branding, intercultural communication, crisis communication, and business etiquette.
French and German native speaker, and fluent in English, she consults in those tree languages and offers VIP coaching to politicians, elected officials and leaders, customised coaching to individuals, talks and workshops to corporations, universities and schools.
